A Life Full of Adventure

Everyone wants that life. The life where you don't really have to work and you can travel the world and see new things. I would love to have that life, too. But for most, that isn't the reality. I have always been a very creative soul, and when life gets hard, my wanderlust kicks in hard. For some, the best thing is to take what you can get. Every few weeks I have to get out, and go where I can. Sometimes that place is right in your backyard, you just have to know where to look.

I live in central California. Which means pretty much in the middle of nowhere, with cool places just out of arms reach. It's a two-four hour drive any which way to reach an awesome destination. This last weekend we drove out to The Trail of 100 Giants, located in Sequoia National Park. The drive was about two hours, and I was vomiting by the time we got there, but in the end, it was well worth it.

We got to climb trees, take cool pictures, and breath in some really fresh air compared to what is in the city. What I really learned, though, is it's not just about WHERE you go. It's about getting out of your every day funk and doing whatever makes your soul feel alive.
